1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Anomaa Studio uses cookies and similar technologies on eBodhya Studio. It applies to every visitor and Account holder on studio.ebodhya.in and exists to give you clear information and control over non-essential tracking, in line with the DPDP Act, 2023.
2. Definitions
- "Anomaa Studio," "we," "us," "our" — has the meaning given in the Legal Entity section of this document.
- "the Platform" — the specific eBodhya Platform to which this document applies, as identified in the Legal Entity section.
- "User" / "you" — any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Platform.
- "Personal Data" — data about an individual who is identifiable by or in relation to such data, as defined in Section 2(t) of the DPDP Act.
- "Cookie" — a small text file placed on your device by a website you visit, used to remember information about your visit or preferences.
- "First-Party Cookie" — a cookie set directly by studio.ebodhya.in.
- "Third-Party Cookie" — a cookie set by a domain other than studio.ebodhya.in, typically by a service we embed (such as an analytics provider).
3. Applicability
This Policy applies to all cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) used on studio.ebodhya.in, whether you are a visitor browsing public pages or a signed-in Creator, Institution, or Publisher.
4. Legal Entity
eBodhya™ is a trademark owned and used by Anomaa Studio, a sole proprietorship business based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India ("Anomaa Studio," "eBodhya," "we," "us," or "our"). Anomaa Studio owns and operates the entire eBodhya suite of platforms, comprising:
- eBodhya Studio — studio.ebodhya.in
- eBodhya Marketplace — marketplace.ebodhya.in
- eBodhya Schools — schools.ebodhya.in
- eBodhya Workspace — workspace.ebodhya.in
(together, the "eBodhya Platforms").
Every account, subscription, order, listing, or agreement created or entered into through any eBodhya Platform is an agreement with Anomaa Studio directly. No eBodhya Platform is owned, operated by, or offered on behalf of any third party, franchisee, reseller, school district, or unrelated entity, unless we state so expressly and in writing. eBodhya™ and the eBodhya logo are trademarks of Anomaa Studio; no license to use them is granted except as expressly permitted in writing.
In this document, "the Platform" means eBodhya Studio (studio.ebodhya.in) specifically, and "eBodhya" or the "eBodhya Platforms" means the wider suite of products described above.
5. Cookie Categories We Use

We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on the Platform. Essential cookies cannot be disabled without impairing core functionality such as login and AI generation.
6. Consent Banner and Managing Cookies
On your first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential (functional and analytics) cookies before they are set. Essential cookies are set regardless, as they are strictly necessary to deliver the Services you request. You can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie Preferences" link in the Platform footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings, which will require you to make a fresh choice on your next visit. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of cookies already placed before withdrawal.
7. Retention
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent functional cookies are retained for up to twelve (12) months or until you clear them. Analytics cookies are retained per our analytics sub-processor's default window, typically up to fourteen (14) months, after which they expire automatically. 8. Privacy
Cookies may collect Personal Data such as IP address or device identifiers. See our Privacy Policy for how such Personal Data is Processed.
9. AI
Cookies are not used by our AI Assistants to generate AI Output; they relate only to Platform functionality and analytics. See the AI Usage Policy for how AI features handle your data.
10. Data Processing
Personal Data collected via cookies is Processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the DPDP Act, 2023.
11. Third-Party Services
Our analytics sub-processor may set third-party cookies as described in Section 5. We do not permit third-party advertising cookies on the Platform.
12. Security
Cookies used for authentication are secured using industry-standard flags (such as HttpOnly and Secure) as described in our Security Statement.
13. Retention
See Section 7 above and our Data Retention Policy.
14. Deletion
You may delete cookies at any time via your browser settings. Deleting essential cookies will log you out and may interrupt in-progress AI generations. See our Data Deletion Policy for deletion of underlying Account data.
15. Intellectual Property
Not applicable to this Policy beyond the trademark notice in Section 4.
16. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for managing cookie preferences on any device you use to access the Platform and for understanding that declining functional cookies may reset preferences between sessions.
17. Prohibited Activities
You must not interfere with, block, or manipulate the Platform's essential cookies in a way that circumvents security or usage controls, including Subscription usage limits.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law, Anomaa Studio's liability arising out of this Policy is limited as described in the Terms of Service. Nothing in this Policy limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or statutory rights that cannot be waived.
19. Disclaimer
Cookie behavior may vary by browser and device; we do not guarantee that every browser will honor cookie preference settings identically.
20. Termination
Cookie preferences are tied to your browser/device, not your Account, and will end automatically if the underlying cookie expires or is cleared, independent of Account termination.
21. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Cookie Policy and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to it, the Platform, or the Services (a "Dispute") is governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
The parties will first attempt in good faith to resolve any Dispute through informal negotiation for thirty (30) days after one party gives the other written notice of the Dispute. If the Dispute is not resolved within that period, it will be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in Bengaluru, Karnataka, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, before a sole arbitrator appointed by Anomaa Studio. The arbitration will be conducted in English, and the seat and venue of arbitration will be Bengaluru, Karnataka. The award of the arbitrator will be final and binding on the parties.
Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or equitable relief before a competent court at any time. Subject to the arbitration agreement above, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any Dispute not subject to arbitration and over any proceeding to enforce an arbitral award.
22. Jurisdiction
Without prejudice to the arbitration agreement above, the Platform is directed at Users in India, and Anomaa Studio makes no representation that the Platform or its Content is appropriate or lawfully available in other locations. Users who access the Platform from outside India do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.
23. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Services, Applicable Law, or our practices. We will post the revised version on the Platform with an updated "Effective Date" and, for material changes, will provide reasonable advance notice through the Platform, by email, or by an in-product notice, as appropriate to the change and the audience of the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after the revised Cookie Policy takes effect constitutes acceptance of the changes.

Grievance Officer
In accordance with Section 5 of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the grievance redressal requirements of the DPDP Act, 2023, Anomaa Studio has designated a Grievance Officer for the eBodhya Platforms, reachable at grievance@ebodhya.in. The Grievance Officer will acknowledge a grievance within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt and will endeavor to redress it within fifteen (15) days, or such other period as Applicable Law prescribes.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate a Personal Data grievance to the Data Protection Board of India, or pursue any other remedy available to you under Applicable Law.
