Content Publishing Policy

1. Introduction
This Content Publishing Policy describes the internal Studio workflow Content goes through before it is finalized — whether kept private, shared in a Collaboration workspace, or made ready for Marketplace Publishing. It applies to every Creator, Institution Account, and Publisher Account, and exists to keep quality, originality, and version control consistent across the Platform.
2. Definitions
- "Anomaa Studio," "we," "us," "our" — has the meaning given in the Legal Entity section of this document.
- "the Platform" — the specific eBodhya Platform to which this document applies, as identified in the Legal Entity section.
- "User" / "you" — any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Platform.
- "Content" — any text, image, video, audio, document, dataset, question, worksheet, presentation, lesson plan, assessment, or other work made available on or through the Platform.
- "Editorial Review" — the internal quality, curriculum-alignment, and originality check a piece of Content undergoes before it can be finalized for publishing.
- "Metadata" — structured information describing a piece of Content, including subject, grade level, curriculum tag, difficulty, and authorship.
3. Applicability
This Policy applies to Content created by any Creator, Institution Account, or Publisher Account that is intended to be finalized, shared beyond a private draft, or published via Marketplace Publishing.
4. Legal Entity
eBodhya™ is a trademark owned and used by Anomaa Studio, a sole proprietorship business based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India ("Anomaa Studio," "eBodhya," "we," "us," or "our"). Anomaa Studio owns and operates the entire eBodhya suite of platforms, comprising:
- eBodhya Studio — studio.ebodhya.in
- eBodhya Marketplace — marketplace.ebodhya.in
- eBodhya Schools — schools.ebodhya.in
- eBodhya Workspace — workspace.ebodhya.in
(together, the "eBodhya Platforms").
Every account, subscription, order, listing, or agreement created or entered into through any eBodhya Platform is an agreement with Anomaa Studio directly. No eBodhya Platform is owned, operated by, or offered on behalf of any third party, franchisee, reseller, school district, or unrelated entity, unless we state so expressly and in writing. eBodhya™ and the eBodhya logo are trademarks of Anomaa Studio; no license to use them is granted except as expressly permitted in writing.
In this document, "the Platform" means eBodhya Studio (studio.ebodhya.in) specifically, and "eBodhya" or the "eBodhya Platforms" means the wider suite of products described above.
5. Quality and Curriculum-Alignment Review
Before Content can be finalized for Marketplace Publishing, it passes through Editorial Review, which checks: factual accuracy appropriate to the stated subject and grade level; alignment with the curriculum tag applied to the Content; internal consistency (for example, that a Question's marking scheme matches its stated difficulty); and compliance with our Acceptable Use Policy.
6. Originality and Plagiarism Checks
Editorial Review includes an originality check covering both manually authored Content and AI Output, consistent with the academic-originality expectations in our AI Content Generation Policy. Content substantially copied from a third-party source without attribution or rights, or AI Output that too closely reproduces existing third-party material, will be flagged and returned to you for revision before it can proceed.
7. Metadata and Tagging Requirements
Content intended for Marketplace Publishing must carry complete Metadata: subject, grade level, curriculum tag, difficulty, language, and authorship (including co-author attribution from any Collaboration workspace). Incomplete Metadata will block finalization until corrected.
8. Version Control and Rollback
Every edit to Content is captured in Version History, letting you and any co-authors compare versions and roll back to an earlier version if a later edit — including an AI-assisted edit — introduces an error. Editorial Review runs against the specific version submitted for finalization; rolling back after Editorial Review has approved a version requires re-submission for review.
9. Editorial Rejection Reasons
Content may be rejected at Editorial Review for reasons including: failing the quality or curriculum-alignment check in Section 5; failing the originality check in Section 6; incomplete Metadata under Section 7; or violating our Acceptable Use Policy or Copyright Policy. We will state the specific rejection reason so you can revise and resubmit.
10. Appeal Process
If you believe a rejection was made in error, you may appeal by emailing support@ebodhya.in within fifteen (15) days of the rejection, referencing the Content and rejection reason, and explaining why you believe the rejection should be reconsidered. We will review the appeal and respond within a reasonable time, generally within fifteen (15) days.
11. Privacy
Personal Data included in Content Metadata (such as author names) is handled per our Privacy Policy.
12. AI
AI Output is subject to the same Editorial Review as manually authored Content, plus the additional originality and provenance checks described in our AI Content Generation Policy.
13. Data Processing
Personal Data Processed during Editorial Review is handled per the Privacy Policy and the DPDP Act, 2023.
14. Cookies
Not directly relevant to this Policy; see the Cookie Policy.
15. Third-Party Services
Editorial Review may use third-party originality-detection tooling at a category level, as described in our Privacy Policy.
16. Security
Content under review is protected using the measures in our Security Statement.
17. Retention
Editorial Review records, including rejection reasons and appeal outcomes, are retained per our Data Retention Policy.
18. Deletion
Rejected Content that you choose not to resubmit may be deleted per our Data Deletion Policy.
19. Intellectual Property
This Policy governs the internal review workflow only; ownership of Content under review remains with you per our Intellectual Property Policy.
20. User Responsibilities
You must submit complete, accurate Metadata, address Editorial Review feedback before resubmitting, and ensure Content reflects your own original work or properly licensed material.
21. Prohibited Activities
You must not attempt to bypass Editorial Review, submit Content with false or incomplete Metadata to evade quality checks, or resubmit rejected Content without addressing the stated rejection reason.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law, Anomaa Studio's liability arising out of this Policy is limited as described in the Terms of Service. Nothing in this Policy limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or statutory rights that cannot be waived.
23. Disclaimer
Editorial Review is a quality gate performed on a good-faith, best-efforts basis; it does not guarantee that approved Content is fully free of error or that it will succeed commercially on eBodhya Marketplace.
24. Termination
Repeated submission of Content violating this Policy may result in feature restriction, suspension, or termination under our Acceptable Use Policy.
25. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Content Publishing Policy and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to it, the Platform, or the Services (a "Dispute") is governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
The parties will first attempt in good faith to resolve any Dispute through informal negotiation for thirty (30) days after one party gives the other written notice of the Dispute. If the Dispute is not resolved within that period, it will be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in Bengaluru, Karnataka, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, before a sole arbitrator appointed by Anomaa Studio. The arbitration will be conducted in English, and the seat and venue of arbitration will be Bengaluru, Karnataka. The award of the arbitrator will be final and binding on the parties.
Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or equitable relief before a competent court at any time. Subject to the arbitration agreement above, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any Dispute not subject to arbitration and over any proceeding to enforce an arbitral award.
26. Jurisdiction
Without prejudice to the arbitration agreement above, the Platform is directed at Users in India, and Anomaa Studio makes no representation that the Platform or its Content is appropriate or lawfully available in other locations. Users who access the Platform from outside India do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.
